As there is an earthquake in Japan , Toyota will decrease their production to 50%
The article mentions that Toyota will be cutting down their production in the parts of North America and China. The main reason why the company has decided for this action was due to the supplying materials aross the countries as there was a massive earthquake in Japan. The total production will be continued to be decreased for the next months and up until the June of 3rd. decreased down to 50 percent. This will greatly influence the businesses in North America, as 25, 000 workers are employed for this company. On the other hand, the team workers of the company will try to not waste this time away by developing their training skills.
Furthermore, the Toyota company has not yet layed out their plans for the future as there were earthquakes, nuclear issues in Japan that hinders them to deliver efficiently.

Toyota company is struggling as they have no plans layed out for future.
This will greatly influence the businesses in Canada, as the company Toyota is one of the best-selling car companies. The company had been loved by many Canadians, as they produce excellent cars with moderate prices. This is a tragic news to hear. However, I strongly believe that the company has made a smart choice, as there is no reason to rush on their industry when one of the delivery places in Japan are struggling in massive earthquakes. I am concerned with the future of Toyota, as they have not layed out any future plans. On the other hand, I also believe that this won't really affect the future industry of Toyota, as they are only stopping their production in half for the next few months. After then, they will go back into the normal states and work on their way up to success. Also, I really hope that they could use this time as an advantage to plan for future plans and have a time to realize that things that you don't expect happens.
